Invitation and call for papers of the
2014 DGON Inertial Sensors and Systems (ISS)
Symposium Gyro Technology
With respect to the expanded focus and the scientific topics covered at the symposium during the last years the conference name has changed from "Symposium Gyro Technology" to "Inertial Sensors and Systems". Besides this adaption the conference will stay in the tradition of the last years and keep its high profile in latest inertial technology.
You are kindly invited to attend the symposium on Inertial Sensors and Systems, which will be held in Karlsruhe, Germany at 16 and 17 September 2014.An overview of the important dates can be found at the Information page.
We would like to encourage you as well to contribute your scientific work to the upcoming symposium. Further information is available in the Call for Papers and Invitation (PDF). Please use the provided abstract template to hand in your contribution.
You're welcome to register now.
At this symposium the latest state of inertial sensors and navigation systems as well as gyro technology will be presented. This includes applications of this technology, the development of new systems, components and test procedures as well as investigations on cost and marketing aspects.
As modern systems for navigation, localization and guidance are increasingly making use of aiding data provided by additional non-inertial sensors, these topics will be focused on by the conference with growing interest. Therefore, also papers covering hybrid systems will be highly appreciated, which fuse data from inertial sensors with that from GNSS, visual, infrared, radar or other sensors.
We are looking forward to welcome you at the Inertial Sensors and Systems 2014 in Karlsruhe.
